Winter Parking Restrictions

The Town of Marathon would like to remind all residents winter parking bylaws take effect as of November 1, 2024, to ensure safe and efficient snow removal operations during the winter season.

The Town of Marathon Traffic & Parking Bylaw 1885 states that "no person shall park or stand a vehicle or permit a vehicle to remain parked on any highway under the jurisdiction of the Corporation of the Town of Marathon between the hours of 2:00 A.M. and 9:00 A.M. from November 1 in any year to March 31 of the following year (both dates inclusive)."
